How is Frank?
A Yahoo Group has been set up in his honour: click here.
The good news is that he should be getting out of his cage after the next visit to the vet; and that he has moved ever so slightly out of the corner of his cage, seemingly because of a new blanket. Aw.

GARRY FLITCROFT was finally named today, after spending £200,000, apparently, to try and stop the Sunday people from revealing his affairs with two women. He plays for Blackburn Rovers and nobody outside Blackburn has heard of him. Ha ha.

The Queen Mother has died at the age of 101
Directly underneath the newsflash Ananova reported 'A hedgehog had to be rescued after getting its penis stuck in a fence while looking for a mate.'
That's gone now, but the Lair is here to prove it.

criminal justice story lines in the main soaps during march/april
Brookside, as ever, has plenty of policeman on the beat and they are keeping an eye on Jimmy, who has lost the fight against manic depression, and Anthony, who finally snaps back at his bullies. Meanwhile, Ron is released from prison and must cope with the tumultuous events outside.
Eastenders, on the other hand, never have any policeman round when they might need them and the cast continue their wild ways with abandon; especially nasty old Janine whose drugs and prostitute storyline continues. Meanwhile, Phil and Sonia are both seeking legal advice in the hope of getting their respective children back.
In Coronation Street, Curly is arrested by his wife at a crèche sit-in - never a help to dinner table conversation.
Emmerdale continues to cover Marc's spell in a young offenders' jail and the community punishment for the rest of the areas' youth; while Scott gets involved in some illegal business.

How's Frank?
Apologies for the lack of Frank reports recently; this has been due to too much time spent in the library where Frank-watching may be frowned upon by the vulture-like swarms that hover around trying to indict you of non-serious computer using so that they can get onto your computer to do their so-called work (this is less likely to involve serious academic work as clogging up the communal printer for two hours with law reports).
Anyway, Frank isn't in his cage at the moment, which probably means he's happily trotting around a bigger room. Let's hope so.

Found a great bar on Carlisle Street - The Toucan. It's a Guinness pub painted black and we should be returning to sample the Guinness Pie and Champ and perhaps even the Black Velvet (Guinness and Champagne, but only if the credit card works) today.
In the bar it had the following quote from the "Reverend" Ian Paisley:
"I would be glad to see the Devil's Buttermilk banned from society"
