By the way, this is worth pointing out. 6000 people have written to Little Mo since she got 'jailed' in April.

Atrocities get committed all over the world. Innocent people rot away in jail with nobody even knowing they are there.

And 6000 people write to Little Mo in 'jail'. Remarkable...

Phew... uploading Crimewatching really takes it out of poor old Blogger. But it's becoming something of a necessity, and really shouldn't go up a week late because the Lair continues to be an authority on TV!!

First on Google-Yahoo for Codename Eternity Blonde, no I don't know who the blonde is.
Second on Google for Shops, Robbers and Videotapes
Second on Breathe for Inspector Linley Mysteries - and as they threw in 'pictures' from Frank there must definitely have been someone dissapointed.. sorry :)
Third on BBCi for Fraud and Money Laundering (hehe, probably someone very disappointed that they didn't get any tips!)

Thanks, kind search engines...

clare's personal choice of the week
Friday May 3rd, 21.30, C4 The Book Club
There’s not a lot on this week, but this comedy has proved to be funny in the past and is so well worth watching. Set in Scotland, it is an amusing mix of cultural stereotypes, awkward social situations and people on drugs.
Producer: Anita Overland

criminal justice story lines in the main soaps during april/may
The big CJ storyline this month is in Eastenders, where Little Mo, Crimewatching can exclusively reveal (to those who don’t watch TV), was found guilty of attempted murder. See how she’s getting on in jail this month.
In Brookside, Ron is having problems coping with life outside jail and in Emmerdale, Marc has been released from the Young Offenders Unit at a cost.
Coronation Street sees the return of Linda, so it turns out that Mike did not murder her after all. Phew.

crime writing in the TV guides
The best place to go this week is the Eastenders website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders - where 1300 people so far have written to Mo in jail. Nice to see people worked up about something important… What if all those people wrote to real people in real jails?? It would mean one in 70 prisoners got a letter!

More neglect, more regret... all the lovely readers have gone.

May Day went off, it seems without too much fuss, though the Evening Standard wanted to make some.

This site has some nice layout, though the Lair has been such a hectic place that viewing it properly to see if it comes up to Admirable Blog standards cannot be done yet. Too tired....

But, if you're here go onto Hodge Watch! It's taken bloody ages to get it looking half decent, and now the front page seemns to be playing up... can't face it :(

How terrible, DAYS, almost, without a post. Standards are slipping. This is because of taking far, far too much on and trying to build about 15 websites at once (revision obviously taking a backseat) (as usual)

Missed blogging a shocking day of news, with the eighteen people being killed in Germany and, less importantly but still rather bizarrely, the English trainspotters being convicted for spying. Course, we are all trained to assume they are Not Guilty because they are English and therefore Civilised (haha) but still, seems a little unlikely...

Finally today got round to looking up Yougov, where tis rumoured you get paid for your opinions. Like that idea. :) Britons, check it out!!
